I would like to introduce myself as a candidate for the Senior Social Worker position that your company advertised yesterday on the Dayjob.com website.
With my ethos of high expectations and no excuses, I don’t simply work hard instead I seize ownership and do what it takes to get things done.
After reading the job description I am convinced that your role requires someone like me who can manage complex cases, plan interventions and provide support in a timely manner. You can rely on me to make sure that service users voices are heard and recorded consistently.
As you would expect from someone of my calibre, I will have no trouble ensuring the appropriate use of legal proceedings and where such procedures are instigated to prepare the required documentation. I have direct experience of providing counselling and emotional support to patient’s children, young persons, carers and their families.
As of last year I have been employed by…………..….. , where my duties have required me to manage and monitor a workload of complex cases. In the course of a typical day I am involved in working with individuals facing complex social and family issues. I regularly attend Court where directed, and present evidence or act as an advocate on behalf of service users. Through my job I have learnt how to support people who are homeless, and hep those with drug, alcohol or substance misuse problems.
I must also mention that I am flexible with my working hours and willing to work out of hour shifts, including nights, or be on call.
