I have always wanted to work for your company as a Cleaner and was delighted to see your recent advert on the Dayjob.com website.
I pride myself on my high standards of cleaning and excellent customer service. I will provide a quality cleaning service to clients and keep their buildings in a clean and orderly condition by removing the toughest of stains and odours.
As someone who has undergone hours of extensive training for this role, I can be trusted to consistently use all available resources efficiently and effectively to minimise waste. However, what makes me stand out from others is my unique ability to work at times to suit a client or business to ensure minimal disruption to their daily routines. Additionally, I can work under pressure and prioritise effectively.
I feel I am suitable for your vacancy because I can follow Health and Safety (HSE) guidelines on the usage of chemicals for each task and have in depth knowledge of COSSH. With me you will get someone who can accurately follow the manufacturers’ instructions with regards to cleaning equipment and its usage. In addition to this I also have the ability to operate in a safe manner that ensures no furniture is damaged.
During the two years that I have spent with my present employer, I carry out both regular cleans and deep cleaning. I consistently maintain a quality standard of cleaning to the agreed specification within set time limits. At work I am the single point of contact for all issues such as dealing with tough stains. I have a reputation for providing a safe and clean environment for staff, service users, outside agencies, and visitors.
During my career I have gained extensive experience of acting on my own initiative and dealing with any unexpected problems that may arise. I have also learnt how to maintain all equipment used in a clean, tidy, and safe condition.
On a personal level I always display a high level of courtesy, politeness and effectiveness when dealing with other people. Furthermore, I must mention that I am an ambitious individual who is keen to eventually progress into a supervisory role.
