Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the buildings and communal areas.

Duties;

  • Meeting, greeting and assisting residents in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Ensuring the refuse areas are checked on a daily basis and kept clean and clear.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for residents.
  • Effectively dealing with all partner, business and resident requests and enquiries.
  • Liaising with contractors regarding maintenance and major works.
  • Reporting incidents as well as Health & Safety, security, and cleaning issues to senior managers.
  • Screening all visitors and contractors to ensure they have permission to be in the building.
  • Managing onsite staff such as cleaners and maintenance crews.
  • Entering visitor details into the visitor log.
  • Carrying out basic cleaning duties.
  • Making sure that contractor presence is managed so that there is minimal disruption to residents.
  • Overseeing the safe keeping of the building’s keys.
  • Being aware of residents’ wellbeing whilst on duty and reporting any concerns to the duty Residence Manager.
  • Conducting regular site inspections and security patrols of site and report any issues that arise.
  • Issuing keys to residents whilst recording at all times the signing in and out of the keys.
  • Participating in the recruitment, development, coaching of the Concierge Team.
  • Receiving deliveries and signing for packages when required.
  • Supervising the training and development of deputy concierges, baggage porters and doormen.
  • Making travel and restaurant reservations for guests.
  • Perform basic administrative, secretarial and reception duties.
  • Immediately reporting all potentially suspicious packages, unattended valuables and suspicious vehicles seen during patrols.
  • Evaluating junior staff performance including their presentation and communication skills.
  • Allowing tradespeople access to the building for repairs and maintenance.
  • Quickly responding to any resident complaints or concerns.
