Dear Ms Graham,
I understand from the advert I saw yesterday on the Dayjob.com website, that a position for a Infrastructure Project Manager has become available with your company.
I am confident in my ability to deliver mission results and performance improvements faster than expected.
My career to date has been one great learning adventure and I pride myself on being someone who can pick up new skills and knowledge quickly. Without wishing to sound boastful I believe I am exactly the sort of person you are looking for. Essentially I am someone who can make sensible, well thought out, mature, actionable and achievable decisions to manage your assigned projects. I am an expert at evaluating, planning and executing multiple simultaneous Infrastructure projects across different time zones.
With my present employer I am specifically responsible for working with various functional teams to deliver results. In addition to this I am currently charged with managing the day-to-day operational aspects of a large, multi-million dollar program. On an average day I will be simplifying technical complexities, maintaining inter-departmental relationships and tracking key project milestones.
On a personal level I am an inquisitive, self-learner who has an insatiable appetite to understanding how things work.
My aim right now is to secure a position with a company like yours that has an entrepreneurial culture which rewards innovation and fosters the free flow of ideas.
In closing I would like to thank you sincerely for taking the time to read my application, and I very much look forward to an opportunity to speak to you in more detail regarding this position.
