Maxine can be the face of a company and the lynchpin of a busy office.   • Answering the switchboard in an efficient and professional manner, within a target of 5 rings.
  • Taking all incoming calls and then forwarding them onto the correct person.
  • Meeting and greeting corporate customers who come to the reception area.
  • Signing in all visitors in accordance with security procedures.
  • Answering calls on a busy mainline switchboard.
  • Keeping an eye on the car park and advising visitors if they have parked inappropriately.
  • Assisting with postal duties as and when required.
  • Giving guests a positive farewell upon their departure.
  • Maintaining and updating the Welcome Board each day, and throughout the day, to keep announcements current.
  • Keeping a clear and presentable reception area at all times.
  • Involved in the distribution of incoming and outgoing post.
  • Supporting the Board of Directors with ad-hoc projects.
  • Creating unique visitor passes for guests.
  • Reporting faults and incidents to the Facilities Manager.
  • Overseeing the office CCTV and access management system control.
