I not only have the enthusiasm, drive and motivation needed to achieve growth in corporate fundraising, but also have experience of playing a key role in implementing a sustainable fundraising strategy in order to maximise income. For the last 12 months I have been working as a Fundraiser for a national charity where I am mainly responsible for progressing partnership opportunities to proposals and then onto grants. I work as part of a team of 10 staff where I am involved in managing existing accounts, enticing new corporate supporters and attending donor events.
I am very good at cultivating key relationships with major donors as well as identifying and maximising new opportunities. My key skills include, but are not limited to;
- Developing volunteer networks and fundraising groups.
- Ensuring that income raised is handled as tax effectively as possible.
- Developing successful working relationships with people at all levels.
On a personal level I have a sharp mind, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well as part of a small, collaborative team.
