Dear Ms Graham,
With reference to your advertised vacancy for a Hotel Manager, please find attached my CV for your consideration. I feel that my proven track record of successfully leading teams that enhance all aspects of a Hotels existing services, makes me an ideal candidate for your position.
I understand that every Guest is unique and will always do everything possible to make their stay an enjoyable one. I am eager to add value to our business and want to become part of its on-going success.
Your insistence that an applicant is able to create a unique reflection of your hotels setting, fits perfectly with my ability to quickly grasp a hotel brand’s standards and aims. I have no issues with taking ownership of problems, setting goals and making decisions, and given my extensive training, background and ability to deliver a hotel’s business objectives, I believe I can help your company to meet the highest standards.
Since July 2013 I have been employed as a Manager by the Midland Hotel Group. With them I have gained experience of managing a 24 hour operation and of leading teams from the front. I have become an expert at managing both small and large teams, ensuring that all food is prepared to a high standard and of selling competitive hotel room prices that are profitable.
Right now I am keen to work for a company like yours where I will have a fair degree of autonomy in terms of managing the day to day operations. I would like to find out more about the position you are looking to fill, and would be grateful if you were to invite me to an interview.
