Dear Ms Graham,
Yesterday I saw your advert for a Bookkeeper on the Dayjob.com website, and after reading the job description quickly realised that your requirements precisely fit my competencies, qualifications and future potential.
Since July 2013 I have been employed by a reputable London based practice, where my primary role is to ensure a high level of accuracy in all aspects of their data entry and financial information processing. In essence I am in charge of their credit control, cash flow management, supplier statements, Wire Transfers, Journal Entries and bank account reconciliations.
I have thorough knowledge of the latest bookkeeping processes and extensive experience of maintaining accurate financial records, as well as looking after the petty cash funds and handling large amounts of cash. My other key strengths include; dealing quickly with requests for information, preparing reports for management and producing monthly creditors and debtors lists.
On a security level I am able to keep confidences, and can be relied upon to handle sensitive data professionally.
In addition to my above technical competencies, I also possess superb communication skills that enable me to be confident and professional in any client facing situations. In essence, I can easily interact with different personalities from all walks of life.
Right now I am looking to play a key role in an ambitious and exciting organisation where there is the chance of an immediate interview and start for suitable candidates. I would therefor be very grateful if after reviewing my attached resume you were to contact me to arrange a meeting at your convenience.
I thank you very much for your time and expectantly look forward to hearing from you.
