Yesterday I saw an advertisement on the Dayjob.com website for an Assistant Controller, I feel I am uniquely suited for the position and am writing to express my keen interest in the vacancy.

As my attached CV indicates I have extensive experience of treasury reporting, company re-organisation, Tax investigations and maintaining payroll records. I possess a rare ability to be able to interact with people from different levels both inside and outside of a company.
With my present employer I am responsible for working closely with the sales, marketing, procurement and HR teams to resolve any financial discrepancies in a timely manner. Aside from this I am also in charge of overseeing maintenance of the general ledger and managing a labyrinth of internal controls.
On a personal level I an extremely organised and detail orientated professional who has a hands on approach to getting things done.
