PERSONAL SUMMARY

Maxine has the clinical, management and professional leadership experience needed to get the basics of care right for women and their families. She is passionate about delivering high quality, safe care to her patients. You can rely on her to ensure that the interests and wellbeing of babies are paramount, whilst continuing to act as an advocate for their mothers.

What really sets her apart from others is her ability to be a link between midwives, GP’s health visitors, obstetricians, specialist mental health services and other agencies in relation to the care of pregnant women. In addition to this she is able to provide learning, education and support which enables midwives, support staff, multi-disciplinary team members and students to develop their practice.

Aside from her medical competencies, she is a superb communicator who can relay highly complex and sensitive issues in a tactful manner. Also possesses the teamworking skills needed to liaise effectively with a range of health and social care professionals.

A real professional who is committed to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of infection prevention and control, policies, practices, and procedures. On a personal level is willing to challenge unacceptable staff attitude and behaviour and act as a role model at all times.

Right now, would like to join a organisation where the benefits include career development, flexible working and staff recognition schemes.
