I came across your advertisement for a Housekeeper, and would like to put my name forward for the vacancy. I currently hold a position that is similar to yours, and where my duties include all of those that you are looking for a candidate to be able to do.

I am a knowledgeable housekeeper who has extensive experience of many family household tasks.

With my present employer I am responsible for mopping floors, emptying bins, disinfecting kitchens, cleaning windows and purchasing housekeeping supplies. In addition to this I am punctual, reliable, have an eye for detail and am able to work well on my own as well as part of a team. During my career I have cleaned public areas, always kept cleaning expenditure within set budgets, and developed effective labour cost plans.

I possess all of the skills needed to make a good housekeeper and am comfortable with doing various duties at different levels of responsibility.

In addition to my experience, I also have superb leadership skills and am able to delegate work to junior cleaning staff and also monitor their performance. On a personal level I have the passion and drive needed to see difficult tasks through to completion and am not afraid to take on challenges.
