Whilst browsing the job adverts on the Dayjob.com website, I came across your vacancy for a Room Attendant.

I come to you as a reliable, punctual and hard working individual who can act as the 2nd point of contact with guests after the receptionist.

I have everything you seek in a candidate, from my willingness to take ownership of a guests’ requests, to my ability to create a warm and engaging atmosphere for them.

You mentioned in your advert the need for candidates to be able to work alone for extended periods and to be able to respond to guest and staff inquiries, requests and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner. I have all of these and much more.

Apart from my range of cleaning skills, I also have a flexible approach to working hours and am willing to do various shifts at short notice. I take criticism well and have superb listening skills which enable me to properly understand the needs of patrons.

On a personal level I have a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance along with perfect manners.

Furthermore, I consider myself to be an honest person who will treat a guest’s belongings as my own. I always go out of my way to secure guest rooms and ensure that all doors and windows are closed when room clean is complete.
