  • Maintaining approximately 20 rooms per day.
  • Cleaning the common and guest accommodation areas.
  • Re-sheeting all rooms with clean linen.
  • Replenishing the VIP rooms with gifts.
  • Following proper procedures with regards to entering guest rooms.
  • Reporting to the supervisor any rooms that cannot or have not been cleaned.
  • Reporting any damaged bedding, curtains, blinds and soft furnishings to the Floor Supervisor.
  • Conducting her cleaning duties to a standard that maximizes guest satisfaction.
  • Ensuring all housekeeping stores are well maintained.
  • Removing creases from bed linen.
  • Complying with the Hotels set standard of behaviour and discipline.
  • Carrying out spring cleaning duties as directed by a supervisor.
  • Storing away all cleaning material.
  • Disposing of all rubbish and dirty linen in the correct manner.
  • Making accurate administrative records of all work carried out.
  • Looking after guest property.
  • Removing damaged linen from guest rooms.
  • Hoovering and dusting corridors, carpet edges, wall lights, mouldings and walls.
  • Going through a checklist of tasks given by the cleaning supervisor.
