The intent of this letter is to formally inform you that I will be resigning from my position of (job title) within your company.
The reason for my departure is simple, my wife is starting a new well paid role in (location) and as I want to support her long term career, I am also moving with her. My spouse has been offered an excellent job opportunity and we have decided to move so that she can accept it.

Also, if there is anyone that you would like me to train in my place before I leave, then please let me know so that I can plan their training in absolute detail.
