Dear Ms Graham,
I wish to apply for the position of Warehouse Team Leader that was advertised in today on the Dayjob.com website. I see this role as being a vital part of the supply chain process, and see myself as the candidate who can make sure that the right amount of goods is in the right place at the right time.
I always make other people feel important and appreciated, and because of this am very often the person that others naturally choose to follow.
I fully understand the requirements of running a warehouse, and have extensive experience of loading, unloading, stocking and safekeeping goods in order to maintain their quality and prevent product damage. You can rely on me to store the correct amount of materials, goods and products in the right location to feed the business’s operational and customer demand.
As a member of your company I will be at the forefront of supervising the day to day activities of team members, scheduling deliveries, and controlling the operation of fleets of vehicles. Beyond this, I would also like to mention my knowledge of recruiting, selecting, orienting, coaching and motivating employees.
During my career I have consistently come up with ways to aid efficiency, add value and reduce costs as well as deliver continuous improvement initiatives. At my current place of work I am in charge of the warehousing and inventory control of raw materials, finished goods, traded products, factory supplies and spare parts. Aside from my technical skills, I am someone who is calm by nature and flexible when unexpected things happen. Greater details of my competencies, accomplishments and achievements can be found in my attached resume.
Right now I would like to work for a company like yours that has a culture where people can be themselves and be valued for their strengths. Please feel free to contact me to arrange an interview at a time and place of your choosing.
