  • Giving guidance and support on HR policies and procedures to those who ask for it.

  • Liaising with the trade unions on individual cases or projects.

  • Researching and advising on complex issues raised by operational teams.
  • Checking the accuracy of monthly payroll data and the submitting it to the HR Manager for final sign-off.
  • Making sure the company complies with the law in all its Human Resource operations.
  • Managing the annual bonus and salary review processes.
  • Escalating complex queries to the HR Manager, Regional HR or Employee Relations team.
  • Writing up accurate job descriptions for company vacancies.
  • Coaching HR managers in performance management procedures.
  • Ensuring that all HR issues are dealt with within the timescales set out in the company’s procedures.
