Dear Ms Graham,
Your recently advertised role for a Web Designer is attractive to someone like me with an understanding of all forms of digital graphic techniques and production practices. I have experience of working in a similar corporate environment to the one your company operates in, and feel confident enough in my ability to make a success of your position.
I can drive ideas from concept to project delivery and have the capacity to dive in and out of different briefs. My approach to problems is always thorough, measured and considered. I never rush into doing things and instead take my time to consider the needs of users. I have a real passion for my work, am able to work well with other web developers and can hit the ground running in any environment.
With my present employer, where I have been since June 2013, I have gained an enviable reputation for being able to develop slick, user friendly designs for both mobile and web platforms. I work within a multi-disciplined creative services team and am sometimes required to work remotely from my home of a clients office, this is something that does not bother me at all.
Right now I am keen to work for a company that has budgeted to hire the best and which is more than happy to be accommodating of a hardworking professional like me. If what you have read so far sounds of interest to you, then please do not hesitate to contact me to arrange an interview at your convenience. I know I can be a great asset to your company and look forward to discussing with you in person how I can contribute to your continued success.
Thank you very much for accepting, reviewing and hopefully responding to my application.
